Nichols Darby Leg Irons

Typical Darby Leg Irons. Differentiated only by their sheer size, weight and the length of the connecting chain (around 2.5 feet!) This chain has two swivels, one on each side of the central oblong ring which, one assumes, served to pass a gang chain through to link up a number of prisoners.
