Darby Belly Chain Combination

The Darby Belt Combination is a prisoner transport device. The belt is fastened around the prisoner's waist, padlocked from behind through the hasp. The wrist and ankle shackles are then applied. When the prisoner is standing, the chains are of such a length as to pull through the tubes on the belt so that the wrists are held closely to the waist. When the prisoner is sitting, the distance between the ankle chain and the waist is much shorter allowing the wrists to be pulled away from the waist by as much as 1 1/2' (in order to eat, etc..)
