Yuma Handcuffs

These handirons are deeply stamped YUMA TERRITORIAL PRISON 1882 and make from steel strap that is 3/16 inch thick and 1 1/2 inch wide. They are very heavy irons with no welds and are meant to be rivited on. A visit to the YUMA prison years ago could not verify their origin but their construction does coincide with that harsh place.
